Get ready, people. I have a truckload of new Christmas music for ya!
Christmas is by far my favorite time of year. I’m a HUGE Christmas nerd. In fact, this is the first in a series of Christmas-themed toplist posts I have planned for this season. Oh, yeah. I’m spreading Holiday Cheer. Whether ya like it or not! 
The first in the series of Christmas list posts is this one, new Christmas music. Of course, I’m taking a rather loose view of the term “new.” I’m going to adopt Stephen Merchant‘s definition of “New Music,” which is – “Music you’ve not heard before.” :s)

I can’t even talk. It’s David. Just…beautiful, hilarious, touching, moving, amazing…it’ll give you goosebumps. But that was summed up when I said, “It’s David.”

I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest Ingrid fan. Nothing against her, just…meh. But Sarah B? Frickin’ amazing. And the harmonies are really pretty.

Everything I Need This Christmas Released Today!

Congrats to my friend Jd Webb, who released his Christmas single today! You may remember me writing a while ago about the photo shoot for the cover of the single.
Here’s a really cool “behind the scenes” video that shows the “making of” the single.
Also in the video, that people who read my blog might be interested in – Charles Jones, Zane Carney, Sandy , and Me! Sadly, I’m dressed as Santa, so I’m harder to spot. 
I was at the studio when they were filming, but do I make it in dressed like the normal me? No. Only in a beard and glasses. Five bucks if you spot me.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this yet.
If you’re wondering about the title of the post, it’s lyrics from my friend Jd’s new Christmas single “I Got Everything I Need This Christmas” (or…the title might be shorter than that, I’m not sure, LOL). Watch for it on radio after Thanksgiving, it’s gonna be heavily placed.
So, anyway, at the photo shoot for the cover of the single, Jd had a bunch of his friends come and dress as Santa. Then we all crowded around him. Inside a school bus. I know. But it was a concept. He’s artsy.
Anyway, because Jd has the most randomly interesting and varied group of friends on the planet , the people there that day (and dressed as Santa!) included:
Me – uber famous blogger (just kidding )
Ah Young Kim – hot LA children’s clothing designer
Matt Locke – of HGTV’s DesignStar
Maiya Sykes – of VH1′s Bands on the Run
Charles Jones – played Carl in Dreamgirls, as well as toured with Jonny Lang, Joss Stone, Jennifer Hudson…everybody
It was a surreal experience, but really fun. The make-up girl ended up getting dressed up as Santa and being in the photo, as well as two of the ladies that worked at the bus company. It was hilariously fun!

So, many of you who know me in real life know this, but many of you who know me through the blogosphere may not – Jd Webb, one of my really good friends, as well as my business partner (not in blogging, in another business venture ), writes all the original music for Days of Our Lives, as well as sings most of the guy songs.
He’s never performed any of the songs live before, although the DOOL fans ask him to ALL THE TIME, but he made an exception for this one song that has become extremely popular. It’s called Right Here, and it’s (to torture a pun, haha) RIGHT HERE:
