This is the IBM 305 RAMAC, the very first computer to contain a hard disc drive.  It weighed over a ton and stored….WAIT FOR IT…5 MBs OF DATA!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me?

I have a flash drive smaller than my thumb that holds 8 GBs.

For those of us doing math, that’s 1,600 times as much data.

I’ll wait now, while you mull that.

Is your mind blown?  If not…it well and truly should be.

This is enough to make me not only want to have an iPhone, but also bank with this bank! LOL

I frickin hate going to banks, post office…errands of any kind bore me to tears.

Anything I can do from the internet (or even better, my phone!) is a step in the right direction in my book!

Merge Files and Combine Files – A Quick Way to Combine or Merge CSV Files

Here is a video tutorial on how to mergie CSV files I whipped up for you all. Believe me, if you’ve been merging CSV files by hand, you NEED to learn how to combine CSVs automatically! Best of all? It’s easy, and it’s free.

Let’s go!

Here are the quick steps from that tutorial:

1) Choose Start->Run
2) Enter “cmd”
3) Enter the following:

copy C:\*.csv C:\[filname].csv

…replacing the path and filename with your own information.

4) Hit the enter key.

This just might be the coolest invention of all time. I wish I had it when I was in college.

Dang, I wish I’d had it when I was in meetings at a certain job that won’t be named (*cough* LA Leadership *cough*) where the exact words that a certain person (who I actually WON’T name :/) had said in previous meetings was constantly being called into question. :D If you worked there, you know what I mean. But, Maria, wouldn’t this have helped??? :)
